This Cooloola Cove project involved repairing and resurfacing an older driveway with a deeply textured exposed-aggregate finish. The aim was to refresh the existing concrete and create a clean contrast with the home's warm brickwork.
Before: older exposed aggregate
The original surface had a pronounced stone texture. The supplied photographs show that older aggregate finish on the driveway and adjoining side path, before the resurfacing work.
Repairs and resurfacing
We repaired and resurfaced the existing concrete to give the driveway and adjoining paths a coordinated finish. The neutral grey surface provides a fresh contrast against the brickwork while tying the outdoor areas together.
After: a fresh finish that complements the brickwork
The completed photographs show the renewed driveway, side access and verandah area. The textured finish gives the outdoor concrete a consistent appearance without competing with the colour of the house.
