This Sunshine Coast project transformed an older stamped concrete driveway through patching, grinding and resurfacing. The work replaced the appearance of the worn stamped pattern with a fresh, high-grip textured surface.
Before: the older stamped driveway
The before photograph shows the original stamped pattern, worn colour and visible cracking. This was the starting point for the repair and preparation work.
Patching and grinding the surface flat
Preparation included patching and repairs, followed by grinding the old stamped surface flat ready for resurfacing. This preparation allowed the new finish to give the driveway a more uniform appearance.
After: a new high-grip finish
The driveway was resurfaced with a new high-grip textured finish. The finished photographs show the refreshed driveway, its approach and the adjoining side area, with a consistent neutral colour across the concrete.
